I always love this place, down home Texas atmosphere, w/o pretentious steakhouse prices. My Pittsburg boyfriend is excited that he finally found a place that will perfectly "pittsburg" his steak. We always go here for steak cravings! Sweet and sincere waitstaff too!
Great place for lunch but be sure you have somewhere to pass out afterwards. Had the Truck Stop Enchiladas which are covered in chili and cheese... Yummy. My friends had the Chicken Fried Chicken which was so tender you just needed a fork and a burger cooked exactly the way it was ordered. We shared all of our sides including mac & cheese, sweet potato fries, steak fries, and corn nuggets. Again, yummy! The service was great too!
Love this place ! If you want some basic American eats this is the place. Cool atmosphere and the staff is friendly. We've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Great corn nuggets and fried okra, salads are BIG and yummy, chicken fried steak is also very good.
A Must Stop for Me!! I travel to Austin once a year and every year we stop at Hill's to enjoy the great food and fun atmosphere! We have tried something different each visit and haven't been disappointed yet. The portions are generous and the food is delicious! This last time we enjoyed a couple of bands out at the live oak and had a rocking good time!
